Greg Willoughby from London, Ontario prepares to swim across Lake Ontario this year. He is hoping to generate awareness and help get donations for St. Joseph’s new mental Healthcare Centre. They will be building new, state-of-the-art mental health treatment facilities in London and in St. Thomas, Ontario. One of the central components of these buildings will be the new videoconferencing technology that will actually allow Healthcare Professionals to assess and treat patients in the comfort and security of the patient’s home. Greg’s goal is to inspire donations of $25 000 to help purchase this videoconferencing equipment. And he hopes to do this by swimming across the 51 kilometers that is Lake Ontario.
